Did you apply for the GOFP? I'm pretty sure that UCLA reviews the GOFP applicants first and then moves on to reviewing regular applicants. So even if you applied by the dec 15 deadline, if you didn't apply for the fellowship, then you wouldn't have heard back yet.

Not yet and I know quite a few other applicants haven't heard either.... It almost feels like there's an unofficial waitlist. Have you heard of anyone who has heard back? I'm in an FB group with at least 25 people who applied to UCLA and not a single one has heard anything. I'm starting to think that announcement was premature haha

Has anyone heard from UCLA?? They posted on Thursday that they'd be sending decisions over the next couple of days, but I haven't seen anyone hear anything yet.

Thanks for making this thread!! I applied to UCLA, CSULB, and CSULA - still waiting for replies! So far I've only heard that my app for CSULB has been forwarded to the SW department for their review. I'm really nervous yall!

Hi all my future social workers! I'm creating this thread to share our application results and decisions! The waiting game is so hard! I've applied to UCLA, CSULB, and CSULA. I submitted all apps including references on Nov 22nd. So far I've received an email from CSULB letting me know that my application was forwarded to the social work department. I received that email on December 19th. I'm looking forward to hearing from others!
