    Good morning everyone -- I accepted my offer from OISE (MEd in Counselling Psychology) and submitted my decline of offer at McMaster (Psychotherapy). I wanted to share in case any of you are on the waitlist at Mac and waiting to hear back. This was a really hard decision as both programs are excellent. Both programs have equal pros and cons, but the location of OISE just works much better for me and my partner which was the deciding factor. Best of luck to you all! I hope everyone hears back from the programs they applied to this week so you can start planning your future! 🙂

    Re: OISE -- I have the same status and it's been the same since I submitted my application! I hope someone will give us some insight to what a decision looks like from them (acceptance or denial)! I know that decisions don't come out for a while, like end of March, April, and even May. I hope it's sooner than that, though!

    I received an email at 10:56 this morning from McMaster. I got in! This is so surreal. I've been working towards this dream for years. I received two rejections over the last two weeks and was starting to think that it may not be my year for grad school. Wishing anyone who hasn't received an email just yet the best of luck, and to hold on!

    I have not heard back, but I believe they said they'd be sending out decisions mid-late March. Wishing you the best of luck! 🙂

    Thank you for offering up some information from your experience last year! When you were denied last year, do you remember if you found out first from an email or the portal? I check these silly portals daily (sometimes more than once) and I wonder if I should bother. Also -- sincerely wishing you the best of luck this cycle! This is my first time applying and it's... a lot!

    I haven't -- I hear that they take quite a long time to send out decisions. Some folks have said it may be March or April before we hear anything.
