Ed.M. vs. M.A. is also very dependent on the exact institution and program. For instance, at TC, a MA. program typically has 30-35 credits while Ed.M. is the advanced masters degree with much more credits. At USC Rossier however, I remember I was accepted to the Ed.M. program and that was the same length and credits as a typical M.A. somewhere else.

I had a 3.5 cumulative GPA from a state college but a 3.8+ Graduate GPA from an Ivy League. Is there a chance that my graduate GPA can balance out my lower Undergrad GPA in law school applications or are they mainly focused on Undergrad GPA + LSAT only? Is there a chance of getting into a top tier law school (Ivy League level) with a: 3.5 undergrad GPA, 3.8 grad GPA, average LSAT score? Thanks!

I am not sure if this post belongs in the Applied Sciences and Math forum.. Posting here to see if there are any MS applied analytics students that were accepted to the program without a STEM-based undergraduate degree (social sciences, humanities, etc.)? I also heard that this program is the cash cow of SPS but does that mean that the acceptance rate is pretty high? Does anyone know the exact acceptance rate? Thank you!

MA Higher Ed TC - Columbia University alum here looking to apply for the MA Education Policy program at TC. Are there any MA Education Policy alums here that can give a profile overview so I can know what a competitive applicant looks like generally for this program? When did you hear back from your application decision? Is it easy to get your program advisor to approve a suggested concentration that you make up yourself? Thank you!
