  1. I applied to the MC-MPA program this year. I noticed they changed some of the application questions a little bit this year from previous years. I'm not sure of a discord. I'm not sure how well the MC-MPA program is regarded in comparison to other mid-career programs (like Princeton's MPP program for example). But all in all, from what I've heard generally, HKS is often viewed as one of the more legitimate policy programs and a powerhouse within U.S. domestic policy. Although, I don't think the MC-MPA program is known for quantitative rigor. Also, I created a broader 2024 application thread a few minutes ago here: https://forum.thegradcafe.com/topic/166598-2024-fall-public-affairs-mpp-mpa-international-affairs-etc-results/
  2. Hey I applied to HKS for Fall 2024! Glad to see someone else post on here as I find this website really helpful. I applied to the MC-MPA program at HKS but would be on the younger side of the application pool in terms of experience. Still hoping to have a shot! 3. Creating a 2024 Public Affairs results page. I saw one for Canada MPPs 2024 and other ones for specific schools. But I haven't seen one that is a broad 2024 results page. As I applied to law school I found these to be really helpful. I am now applying for my MPP and feel a desire to give back to folks since this site has been so helpful for me. I am including the typically requested information: Program Applied To (MPA, MPP, IR, etc.): Schools Applied To: Schools Admitted To: Schools Rejected From: Still Waiting: Undergraduate Institution: Undergraduate GPA: Undergraduate Major: GRE Quantitative/Verbal/AW Scores: Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): Years of Work Experience: Describe Relevant Work Experience: Strength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): Strength of LOR's (be honest, describe the process, etc): Other:
  4. I haven't seen any posts here on Tech Policy and decided it was time to create one. I am hoping to hear some feedback from folks. I am hoping to focus on technology policy, generative AI, and privacy/risk assessments. I am looking to gain more quantitative skills and career pivot into tech policy. The schools I am considering are: Harvard Kennedy School Princeton School of Public and International Affairs Carnegie Mellon University Heinz College Syracuse Maxwell School Michigan Ford School Duke Sanford Georgetown McCourt George Washington Trachtenberg American School of Public Affairs University of Maryland School of Public Policy University of Virginia Batten Do any of the programs stick out as being higher quality than the others (generally speaking)? Do any of the programs stick out in terms of being higher quality or well known within the concentration of tech policy? Thanks for any help!
