Ugh, that sounds extremely frustrating. I'm sorry! Did they give you any sort of timeline when you interviewed? Thanks for the congrats! I'd actually already accepted the offer to CA before I got waitlisted this morning 😅 Just made me realize I definitely made the right decision.

Ok, we're done folks. Last "here's where I stand" post California State San Bernardino: Interviewed 3/12; accepted; accepted admission offer Pacific Northwest College of Art: Interviewed 03/6; accepted; declined admission offer University of Washington 3D4M: Interviewed 03/11; waitlisted University of Oregon: Interviewed 01/31; waitlisted University of Colorado Boulder: rejected 4 out of 5 interviews and then 2 out of 4 admission offers isn't too bad I don't think! Can't want to get back to SoCal and start in August 🙌

Interviewed with Washington (3D4M) early last week- they told me that they were going to try to get decisions out by Friday but that it was more likely it would be this week. Hang tight!

I did four interviews. I went into the first one extremely stressed and almost desperately trying to prep for questions they might ask. I ultimately was waitlisted for that school. The other three that I did, I didn't really try to prep for and have been accepted to two and am waiting to hear back from the third. For my last three, I only briefly reviewed my application materials and statement. Be yourself. You already know your work and your practice best. I know that it is difficult and easier said than done, but try to not stress yourself out about it. Be thoughtful and confident in your responses. Show enthusiasm for your work, your practice, and for the school. They are just humans trying to get a feel for you and your work. Don't be afraid to ask any questions you have - you're also trying to figure out if the school would be a good fit for you. After doing my interviews, I really believe the interview process should also give you a good feeling about the school. Some of the faculty I had conversations with didn't seem very excited or welcoming, while others were excited about my work and extremely friendly and helpful. Hope some of that helps. Best of luck!

Update again: California State San Bernardino: Interviewed 3/12; accepted Pacific Northwest College of Art: Interviewed 03/6; accepted University of Washington 3D4M: Interviewed 03/11; supposed to hear back next week University of Oregon: Interviewed 01/31; waitlisted University of Colorado Boulder: rejected I am really heavily leaning towards CSUSB. I am originally from So Cal and I have such a great support system there. UW is also high up on my list so if I end up getting an acceptance from them too, it's going to be extremely difficult for me to choose. To be honest, I never really thought I would be getting multiple interviews (4 out of 5 schools!!!) and I never would have thought I would have multiple acceptances and have options. I am grateful for everyone supporting each other on this forum and keeping each other updated. I sincerely hope everyone else's experience has been as surreal as mine has and you have all gotten great offers from great schools. I'll update again when I hear back from UW and decide which offer to accept. ❤️

Hey, I know there have been a few people who have been wondering about 3D4M at University of Washington. I just received an interview invite!!!

Hi all, Here's my updates: University of Oregon: Interviewed 1/31, waitlisted 2/20. Final decision expected on or before 4/15. PNCA: Interviewed 3/6, should hear back in a couple weeks. Cal State San Bernardino: Interview request received 3/6, scheduled for 3/12. University of Washington: No interview request, assuming rejection. University of Colorado Boulder: No interview request, assuming rejection. Hearing back from 3/5 schools isn't too bad imo. Hoping my Cal State interview goes well next week! Congrats to everyone who's gotten interviews and acceptances! This has been such a long, arduous, and stressful process and I am very ready to finish it lol.

Hey everyone, I've seen a few people post about where they stand with apps, and here's mine: University of Oregon: Interviewed 1/31. Waitlisted - will know by April 15th at the latest. Pacific Northwest College of Art: Interview invite 2/23 - to be scheduled 3/5 or 3/6 University of Colorado Boulder: Nothing, though I assume it's a no since I've seen others have had interviews in ceramics. University of Washington Seattle: Nothing and impatiently waiting! California State San Bernardino: Nothing yet, but their app isn't due until 5/1 This is so anxiety inducing!!

Also applied and haven't heard anything and no portal update, either. Maybe they're going slow?
