Has anyone heard anything from the following programs specifically for ceramics (unless otherwise mentioned) - LSU - George Washington (Fine Arts) - Columbia College Chicago Also i had an interview at MassArt and haven't heard anything since

annndddd I spoke too soon. Just received an informal rejection from VCU. This wasn't in my portal but from a professor after I emailed with a question. "I regret to inform you that you have not been accepted to VCU this year. We received a large and extremely competitive applicant pool this cycle. We had some good discussions about your work, and we see a lot of potential in your portfolio. Thank you for your interest in VCU." I guess it is good that they see potential? From what I've heard VCU is very competitive for Ceramics.

It is okay. I am from New Orleans and I take classes art classes at Tulane, so maybe getting out is just my next step. Amazing facilities though and the faculty is great. I had an interview with MassArt and I really like the program so fingers crossed, and I am waiting on a couple others. Tulane only interviews a couple people so I'm sure it's a good sign! I will ask around though, I know someone in the department.

Just received my rejection from U Ark "The faculty have completed their evaluation of this year’s candidates, and I write with sincere regret to say that we are not able to offer you a place in the MFA Program of Studio Art at the University of Arkansas. I realize that this decision may come as a disappointment. Of those who have applied to our program, most are fully capable of doing successful work and making a unique contribution to the Studio community. So many of the applicants have demonstrated real achievement and potential for the future. Our decisions say far more about the small number of spaces available and the difficult choices we make than they do about a candidate’s academic promise. While regretting that we were not able to respond positively to your interest in the University of Arkansas, I want to wish you every success in your educational pursuits. Experience suggests that regardless of our decisions, most of our applicants will be welcomed by other outstanding colleges. I extend my best wishes for the coming year."

Anyone else just get an email from gw? Your application to the Fine Arts program has been sent to the committee for review. Decisions are usually made within two to four weeks. You will receive an email notification once there is a decision available on your application.

Hi! Sorry to be repetitive but was seeing if anyone heard from the following programs for ceramics/3D: LSU, GW, VCU, UArk I had an interview with MASS Art and Design so I am waiting on that. Rejection from UGA, and assuming rejection from MICA and RISD because I haven't heard anything.

anything from GW, UArk, or LSU for Ceramics

Good! Same vibe, very friendly and I thought it went well! I really like the program but I don't want to get my hopes up.
