I was also admitted this morning but I didn't email them (well, I did last week, asking to visit). But mine doesn't appear to have any tuition reduction. Does yours or others that were admitted?

Thanks. These are my hesitations, but I look forward to visiting. By the way, I also reached out to Pratt Painting in case I am still under consideration. They said they are still in the process of interviewing and encouraged me to visit, so I will do so next week as well.

Have you visited SVA and what is your impression? I am visiting next Friday. So far, it is my only NYC option. But also received no info on potential financial aid, and it is ridiculously expensive.

I haven't heard anything since my interview 2.5 weeks ago, which I thought went very well. Maybe not.

I was admitted to Goldsmiths, University of London today, after interviewing two days ago. I am from the US and Painting is my main area of concentration. If there is anyone out there with first-hand knowledge (or can put me in touch with someone) of their MFA fine arts program, please DM me. Same for the Glasgow School of Art. It is hard to choose just from the info I can find online.

I am from the US and have been accepted into the MFA programs at Goldsmiths and GSA. My primary media is oil paint, but my practice also includes woodblock printmaking. From afar, I find both programs very interesting in different ways, on par with top schools in the US, and less expensive than NYC programs. If there is anyone, especially current or former MFA students, out there who can comment on the strengths and advantages as well as weaknesses and disadvantages of the programs, I would really appreciate it if you would reply or DM me. I have searched on this site to learn about the programs, but could find only limited info. I do gather that funding, strikes, etc have been an issue. Is it as bad as a couple of years ago?

I have an interview at Goldsmiths coming up. And today was invited to interview at NYU Steinhardt.

Accepted to SVA today. Nice to have a NYC option, but nothing about financial aid. Anything about financial aid for those who have received acceptances from SVA? Have upcoming interviews at Pratt and Goldsmiths. Sitting on GSA acceptance. Painting is my main concentration.

Been lurking. I am a painter who also does printmaking. I received my first offer for the MFA program at the Glasgow School for Art following my interview yesterday. I am a senior undergrad from the US, so this would be quite a change. I am very interested and know GSA has a great reputation from what I have read what I can, but I would appreciate any further insight as I understand there have been some challenges in recent years. The offer indicates that I need to decide within two weeks, which poses problems as I would like to hear back from the other programs that I applied to (especially the ones in NYC). Can I request to push that back? Aside from GSA, I received an interview from SVA and was not invited to interview at Yale. Waiting on the rest.
