But yes, I too am nervous but I'm pretty sure most of the BME/BE programs won't send out acceptances/interviews until Feb 1. However, yes I did happen to get straight acceptances to the two programs I have heard back from. I'm pretty sure UCSD sent out a bunch of BME invites yesterday, unfortunately I did not receive one . Unfortunately I didn't apply to any of the schools you did, so I can't offer much advice regarding your particular case. Just don't worry too much, and if you're like me, you'll probably be checking your email 1000 times a day.

I know right? I feel like I am the only BME/BE here. Where is everyone? I guess I'll start though: Accepted to BU and UT-Austin. I'd love to hear what other people are hearing from!?!?!

I received the same email as well thinking that it was a hopeful acceptance letter.... However, they do not pay your way like many grad schools implying that this is a generic letter. I wouldn't look too much into it, as it seems that the entire admissions department sends this out and has little to nothing to do with our specific applications.

Yes, I applied Biomedical Engineering to MIT, BU, and Harvard. I also applied Chemical Engineering to MIT. All PhD programs. I have heard back from BU and waiting on the others!

I have heard some schools give out admissions decisions already. I have heard back from BME at UT-Austin and some of my friends have heard from Berkeley ChemE and UT ChemE. Has anyone else in these disciplines heard from Berkeley BioE or anywhere else? :?:

Does anyone know when they start notifications? Is it March? I wish that we knew before admissions to graduate school because if awarded then you make a much better candidate obviously.

I submitted all my applications for PhD BME/BE programs in mid october. Got one admittance already in mid December from UTexas!
