Dear friends, please help me out with understanding the importance of GPA. In my case, I had a 3.22 GPA for undergrad (in home country) but was the third in my department (out of 14). I have two master's in one I had an accident did not well in some courses and the thesis and did %65,40 and in the second the coursework was fine (3.65) but I was working and the supervisor was not so interested in my thesis topic and I got a B for the thesis. So the overall GPA was 3.44 for the second masters. I sent some articles to some of the best journals and waiting answers from them but I am rejected from the programs for this year anyway. I want to study at Oxbridge and I want to know what my chances are in case I get very good publications and research experience in the field. The program I am applying is not necessarily my grad and undergrad but very close.

What does this mean?

Hi, Have you heard from the application? I also applied to Oxford DPhil in AMES and heard nothing so far.
