How does the waiting list work? Is it organized by committee, or is there one master list that includes all candidates?

Considering that some NSERC applicants received their results last week, is there hope for an earlier release date?

My supervisor told me that after applying for many scholarships, you tend to forget about them—and by the time you get the results, you’ve already moved on to other things. I guess I still have a lot to learn, because for the past week, I haven’t been able to think about anything else!

We don’t have a set date. Based on last year’s forum, the results were published on April 12. Unlike the other Canadian scholarships, I think we can hope to receive the Vanier results sooner rather than later.

SSHRC here! Knowing that this is the last Vanier competition, it seems like the stakes are higher than usual :')
