I’m reapplying too, so I’m glad someone started a new thread. Last year I underestimated how much time I’d need to really think through the application rather than just getting the materials submitted. This time I’m trying to start earlier and be much more intentional about how I present my experience and why HGSE makes sense for what I want to do next. Hopefully we’ll get a good group here sharing timelines, questions, and updates as things move along. Good luck with the reapplication and fingers crossed for a better result this year!

I applied to a few TESOL programs this cycle as well. So far I've only heard back from one school with an unofficial acceptance, while the others are still under review. The waiting is honestly the hardest part, especially since every university seems to have a different timeline. Ohio University and SIU Carbondale were both on my list at one point too. Hopefully we'll start seeing more decisions come out over the next few weeks.

Congrats on the KU Leuven acceptance as well! I can see why that would make the decision a lot harder. Honestly though, having two great options to choose from is a pretty good problem to have. It’s also great to hear that the scholarship interview went so well. When the committee is welcoming, it usually says a lot about the overall atmosphere of the program too. From what you've described, CEU still sounds like the strongest option, especially with the financial aid package. But I think you're doing the right thing by giving yourself a few days before making the final call. Sometimes the best choice becomes much clearer once the initial excitement settles down. Either way, it sounds like you're in a great position. And yes, it would be pretty funny if we ended up meeting as classmates in the fall! Keep me updated on what you decide.
