how likely will this new update on fastlane today be them putting up the results? I just want to gage the importance of the update and that people are getting results from NSF now...
sorry to ask a stupid question, but had I logged in when they were up (as a first time applicant), would the ratings sheets been on the fastlane "home page" for my application?
I would email the grad coordinator if you really want your answer before they send out the notifications. I'm pretty sure they've made all of their decisions by now.
I always address a professor from a prospective school as "Dr. 'Surname'" because I don't have a relationship with them enough to feel comfortable with a first name address.
Just me though... do what you like
I am still an undergrad, so if I can take another 2 days off from school I might be going! My professors are getting less tolerant.
The day after I got accepted (2/11) via phone, there was a letter of acceptance up on the application page.
citations as to where I heard this?
Two faculty at my institution were on review panels this last weekend. They both told me this and that the reviewers were thrilled that they could offer more awards this year.
Is that a good enough citation?
Nothing until end of March. Last year they didn't tell some people until the beginning of April. GAH! Isn't it nuts that the decision is just floating out there?
