I'm definitely over a thousand... and haven't gotten an acceptance yet :-/ all this money better be worth something.. i just need one acceptance!

got my rejection emails from berkeley and stanford... 2 officially down... 7 more to go! i think i'll officially stop worrying/freaking out once I have my first acceptance letter **hopefully**

I saw for CalTech that an international student got an interview, but I haven't heard back and there haven't been any other posts... I'm hoping that they hear back earlier than resident applicants

I'm taking two years off... assuming I get into school for this fall... working in a technical field for my degree, saving some money and then going back to the meager wages of a student... i'm definitely going to miss the paychecks now.. but it'll be worth it!

yea i still haven't heard anything at all from any of the schools... and it's hard not to have a million thoughts running through my head.. primarily... what if i don't get in anywhere!! **sigh** maybe i'll hear something tomorrow or next week! i've applied to 9 places... so I'm hoping the odds are in my favor.. or maybe I just tell myself that to pass the time :-/

I do most of my work on a computer, so I'm constantly checking my email and this forum for results. I've applied to nine schools... and i"m just hoping that I get into one school with funding and I feel like my stress level will go down a lot! **at least I hope** I too have baked a lot... mostly brownies!

I start giving up for the day around 7 EST.. I applied to most west coast schools

so I got two emails yesterday from USC.... One telling me to submit my application prior to April 2009.. which I've submitted in November of 2008.. and the Second email stating to come to USC for a 'Preview Weekend' with a few dates all the way through April. When you look at the schedule of events, it seems a bit generic by the graduate admissions. They say that they will contact the dept you applied to and let them know you're coming; however, there are no guarantees that someone would be available... so now I don't know what to think about this?!? Any thoughts?

Waiting is definitely crazy... and luckily I can check my personal email at work so I can keep up my checking of my email constantly! Gluck to everyone! I hope all get into the program they want to! Hopefully we'll know soon!

I've applied to UCSD too, but I haven't gotten any word of interviews and I'm pretty sure too that they sent them out earlier this week. Oh well, I'm still hopeful for the other eight schools that I applied too. I've been checking my email/mailbox like crazy too, hoping that I get some word on something from the programs.
