  1. I think UVA is done. From some of my other sources they've even admitted students without funding as well. Rutgers, I think, is still up for grabs. I don't know how many students they normall admit but I am assuming they will continue their notification process until the end of next week. So there is still hope as well. Good luck.
  2. Interesting. When is he moving there? Also, was there any specific reason for his departure?
  3. Hhhmmm... where is Glaser going? Haven't heard this news before.
  4. If they have contacted their waitlist students already, I am assuming they are done then. But then again, I can be wrong.
  5. According to the results board, Chicago results are out now.
  6. Congrats! Could you elaborate a but further on the e-mail you received? Was it from a particular professor, any mention about funding, etc...
  7. Drama is good, especially the quality of "The Bold and the Beautiful"!! I used to watch that non-stop when I was growing up. Anyways, I am realising it really has been a quiet day so far other than the problematic UPenn post.
  8. When does UPenn normally notify their applicants? I think it will be significant to draw insights from previous trends regarding this particular school.
  9. Congrats PollyTheory!! So much for the Friday 13 thing!
  10. I still feel it is a relatively quiet day thus far, in comparison to the last couple or so. I guess the initial storm has swept by and will have to wait for the next one early next week.
  11. I wasn't until you brought that up! Now I hope we're done for the week!
  12. hhhmmmm.... Do you guys (and gals) think it is just another quiet morning/afternoon before things start heating up or do you reckon we're done for this week?
  13. Good morning everyone!! Another day of anxiety and anticipation under way. Regarding Chicago, I will have to disagree. I don't know if Chicago is undergoing budget crisis but 6-9 sounds about right. 3 years ago when my friend enrolled for the PhD program there she told me here cohort had 9 students including herself. Plus she was an externally funded student as well. So I am not at all surprised. Money could be an issue but being selective is another I guess.
  14. Is University of Washington (Seattle) done with their notifications or are they still working on it. It seems like a few people on this forum have already heard back and was wondering if they're done with sending out their acceptances and just preparing their denied letters.
  15. Hhhmmmm... intriguing offers. Will be hard to turn down even with additional offers later on. hahahaha nice one
  16. I applied to Brandeis as well and haven't heard back from them either. Let me know if you find out any further information.
  17. double uh-oh!
  18. Mine doesn't show anything either, but I have a bad feeling about this if I don't hear back soon. Because, according to last year's trend, Duke seems to send out acceptances and then the remaining rejections. But you never know and that one post could be bogus. Let's wait a bit and see.
  19. True! We all thought that UNC would be one of the first schools to notify along with UVA and then we sort of forgot once Duke sent out rejection e-mails. I'm curious myself now, did anyone hear back from UNC?
  20. Oh no! My Duke status page shows no change thus far.
  21. Good morning to you all! It seems like UCLA has been sending out rejection e-mails last night. SIgnals what we are up for today, especially UCLA and Univ of Washington, possibly Duke! EDIT: Congrats to the one accepted to Stanford!
  22. You never know, tomorrow might be filled with surprises.
  23. Have they sent out all their notification emails/letters or are you one of the few to find out first? Just curious as to how Cornell operates here.
