Ok, so I got too anxious to wait any longer and decided to ask the prof I had the interview with on Skype about it and he said: "We are still working on it and haven't decided anything yet."

Honestly, I can't imagine myself doing a PhD in Canada, just because it is frikkin' cold there and I love the relationship I have with Sun :-)

Tough one, i guess it would be worse if my gf would get accepted next year to a 'better' uni than I ;-) But I think that breaking up is worse than getting rejected everywhere.

If I'm not getting admitted anywhere I've move to Nepal or Tibet for 6-8 months and look for a job as a math teacher at a high school :-) and then... I don't know, maybe apply again or .... don't know

Math and AI (large-scale data mining and machine learning) however the interview was with the prof from physical computing and bioinf group, pretty weird situation, I don't know much about it.... But it was my SoP that interested them and they wanted to know about my interests and experience because I didn't wrote much (or anything about it) in my SoP so at least somebody liked it

I had a skype interview about 1.5 week ago but haven't heard back from them since. The fact that somebody submitted that he/she was accepted doesn't improves my hopes of acceptance....
