    WUSTL

Hmm, WUSTL sent acceptances, rejections and I still did not hear anything. Is it because of rolling admissions? The prof I am interested in said I should hear in the beginning of February.
  3. by the way, since there are so many cv applicants here I created a cv fb group long time ago:P http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2309641025
  4. Kanade is still active. http://www.informatik.uni-trier.de/~ley ... Takeo.html It is impressive:)
  5. But masters is only 2 years. Assuming he/she published for 3 years of undergrad - that means more than 2 papers per year;p There are profs who publish less;p
  6. ok someone posted that he/she got rejected from MIT with having 12 publications. How is it possible to have so many pubs?
  7. I agree with belowtree (except that CG is not CV but it applies to all subfields:P) That's how I created my list too
  8. I hope it was Umich so then I can have some hope ;p EDIT: Michigantrumpet: haha we made the same conclusion:P
  9. I thought Kanade is the most famous in CV. Which prof from Berkeley did you mean?
  10. Let them do their job... Once the decision will be made you will be notified. They definitely have multiple rounds of acceptances...
  11. as for cv - go to website of iccv or cvpr - look at who is organizing - then go to their website:) IMHO I think CMU is #1 (Kanade and others)
  12. yes he is but he didn't have an interview
  13. He says his application result on the website is still pending though. Is there an explanation for this?
  14. Hello. My friend received this email (he asked me to post it here) and we are wondering what can it mean. We both applied to the PhD program in cs at CU but I did not receive the email. Can it be that they accepted him and added him to mailing list? 19. To people who got decision from GTech - any of you applied to robotics through college of computing?
  20. I think some schools send acceptances before rejections since they first consider ppl for PhD and then masters
  21. If the person worked at help desk and did good research then it is good
