Does anyone have any updates from MIT and Caltech? I know the chances are bleak considering how late it is, but still........

Congratulations emander on your admit! Would you mind sharing some of your background information such as education, research experience, domestic or international so we know what the competition was like this year?

I wonder why Stanford and others do this every year......First, a few admits, and then silence, and then after a few weeks a big wave of rejections...... Did anyone get admitted today?

Oh....did you contact the department? I saw about 4-5 admits each for MIT and Stanford, 3 for caltech and UCB in the results forum.....no rejections from any of these institutes yet.....wonder if these were the one and only round of acceptances......

Yeah I was pretty gutsy I guess....But looks like its not gonna pay off....

I have also applied to MSE at Stanford, and haven't heard anything from them yet..... Visit weekend is in a week??

Hello everyone, I have applied to the MSE program at: UCB Stanford MIT Caltech I haven't yet heard from any of them....I noticed there are a few postings of admits in the results forum for all these schools....Does anyone know if the rest are on a waitlist/rejected as the visiting days are fast approaching?

Impressive profile... I am still waiting for a response to my application....Since many people have already received admits, I guess my chances are getting dimmer by the day.... Btw, what are your research interestes?
