Hi, that was me who posted. Some background - I sent in my application about 2 weeks after the initial deadline. The coordinator let me know that since I was past the deadline, my application would be considered after those who were applied first. I assume the first batch of applicants were quite strong, so my application was never considered.

Waiting for policy studies as well. There was a rejection in the results survey, so it does sound like a first round went out. I'm waiting, no notification at all!

I'm waiting for a response from Ryerson for the Policy Studies PhD as well. My application hasn't been processed by the graduate admissions office yet, I'm concerned they won't get it to the committee in time!
