I posted a reply to this thread since the 6th of April, its the 21st and still nothing from CUNY or UMass-Boston......my mind feels like its gonna explode.
Was supposed to hear back from CUNY Graduate Center since a month ago, when I contacted them two weeks ago they said they were still making decisions EVEN THOUGH on the results section about 3 people were already admitted to the program since Feburary.
Well it is the 17th and still no response. Called them up and they said they were STILL making decisions. But on the results section of gradcafe already I see 2 or 3 students admitted since the end of feburary O.o
I got waitlisted for Maryland and CUNY-Graduate Center and UMass should be coming up soon. So freaking tired and stressed out. If I don't get into any Ph.D. programs this time around I know I never will. I guess even with publications in prep AND a master's degree, you are still not guaranteed sigh.
Thanks....I thought so, I applied for the Evolutionary and Ecology program, haven't heard back yet either but I'm hearing a lot of people in the liberal arts programs are getting their decision emails.
Has anyone got an acceptance email/letter from this school yet. So far I saw one person got accepted on Wednesday. So right now I am extremely on edge.
I know exactly how you feel. I have been munching on a bunch on healthy food, drank half a bottle of hershey's chocalate syrup because I keep getting up in the middle of the night. AND to top it all off I have to finish my master's thesis this semester and decisions are coming up in March Can't focus, and stressed beyond imagination
LOL I always think about this
"Hmm....look at these horrible organic chemistry scores"
I hope they at least look at the fact that I am writing up manuscripts for publication and finishing my master's.....organic chemistry scores aren't everything dammit!!!
