I just got accepted to Bard after being rejected from 11 other schools (this round and last round). So I guess getting rejected a bunch of times doesn't mean you'll keep getting rejected forever. Best of luck to everyone.

Just got an email about an interview at Hunter (I applied for drawing). Rejected from Stanford and Northwestern. Crazy ups and downs!

Thanks ArtyWorld.. It's the only school I've heard from.. But I haven't heard anything since the interview and I'm kind of dying with curiosity. Good luck with the rest of the applications!

pretty standard I think -- why this program? where do you want your work to go next? what artists do you look at? who is your audience?

I had a phone interview last weekend. They said they interviewed 16 people, and will accept 5 or 6 from that group.

it's this weekend, scheduled to last just 15 minutes.

Hi all! I just got an email about a phone interview with Berkeley.. hope that's helpful for people to know. This is my second year applying.

I interviewed on March 25, and they said they would try to let us know by today, but they didn't seem totally sure. And they didn't say how.

Yes.. drawing/painting I think. I was so nervous and tongue tied, I don't think I could possibly have done worse. I'm not sure they're interviewing all at once, it seemed like timing was up to the person doing the interview.. I'll post if I hear anything else. I got an email yesterday about a phone interview with USC today. Nervous!

I've been reading this board for a while without posting.. Thank you so much everyone for all the information! I just got an email from the Cranbrook painting department about an interview. It is my first! So far I've been rejected by Yale, Bard and Otis, and based on posts here I assume also by Northwestern and Columbia. Good luck everyone!!!!
