What if you had to suggest someone whether to go for Univ A or B (when he has been accepted to both, while you have been waitlisted by A) I suggest tell them honestly. Do you think that someone would knowingly keep you away from the opportunity. Like they say, "its difficult to hurt someone when you know them."

Both the programs are almost equally good. What you need to compare is which is a better fit according to your research interest. Of course, I would prefer Baylor if I had to choose.

I too got rejected from my safeties and got interviews with my top choices. And after three interviews, I got one rejection, one decision still pending since 1 and a half month (from the interview) and the third one also pending. Moreover, I cannot get any more research ex. as its not possible for undergrads in my country..looks like I'm gonna be in big trouble ( and all that with a 1600GRE and very good GPA) . But lets hope for the best.

Dont worry, it happens..With a GRE score of 1600 and a compettive gpa, I have also got only rejections yet. Although, being an international applicant, i shouldn't have been too optimistic cuz my research ex was not too good. Moreover, UMich rejected my application after an interview telling me that my research interests dont match with the scientists who are accepting grad students.

And has anyone heard from Duke Genetics and genomics after the interviews?

I haven't heard anything yet. Have they conducted interviews with all international students they were interested in? Cuz I didn't get the interview call yet. I was surely hoping for an interview call.
