  1. Do you mind sharing your stats? And congratulations on being accepted to so many amazing schools!!!
  2. Congratulations! Would you be kind enough to share stats with us? Thank you!!!
  3. To those accepted to the MPA-DP program: Guys, would you mind sharing a little more about your career backgrounds, education, GRE scores, etc. I was rejected this year (I think it's mainly because I don't have any "on the ground" experience) but I'm planning on applying again in the next couple of years, so I want to get a better understanding about what kind of candidates they have accepted. I'd appreciate it! And once again, congratulations!!!
  4. I assume that since you and I have not yet gotten such e-mails (and Matt C. has not blogged about these "tech difficulties" either), we should not hope for a change in our admissions status. I am sure that they have figured it out by now and contacted the people who were actually given "wrong" info.
  5. IMPORTANT!!!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS!?!?!? It's posted in the Results section and coming from a person who applied to the MPA-DP program. Accepted. March 10. This response was really weird!!! I received a rejection from SIPA and 1 hour later, I received an urgent message from Matt Clemons apologizying and offering me admission. He wrote that there had been serious technical problems and many students who received rejections were actually accepted!!!
  6. TO EVERYONE WHO HAS A PROBLEM SEEING THEIR DECISION STAT!!! Guys, I had the same problem yesterday and I was freaking out because all that was opening was a blank page with a "Print" button. But after I logged out and logged back in a few times, the decision letter came up. So just keep trying until it opens. It will!!! GOOD LUCK!
  7. I GOT A REJECTION...... Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back and to those waitlisted and hoping to get in.
  8. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Which program did you apply to and when did you hear about the decision? Thanks!
  9. I think at this point everything we discuss are pure assumptions. I was going over the SIPA thread from last year - there were people who received "waitlist" decisions over 2 weeks after the initial notifications went out. Clearly, there is no logic as to how/when decisions are made. Therefore, we really cannot know what the status of the remaining 35% of applicants is. Let's be confident that the Admissions Committee is doing their best to provide everyone with timely and satisfactory decisions.
  10. I am wondering if I could send SIPA an e-mail and ask when we can expect MPA-DP decisions (specifically). It's the only program I've applied to and this wait is truly testing my last ounces of patience.
  11. DIESEL2011 mentioned that the Committee that reviews the applications for MPA-DP is separate from the rest of the SIPA apps, so it's not really clear when our decisions will be released. I personally assume it might take them a little more time, because the program is highly selective and generally the majority of candidates are very qualified. Let's keep waiting patiently!
  12. Thank you for this reply! How do you know that our apps are reviewed by a different committee? Thanks again.
  13. Anyone else applied for the MPA-DP program?
