Yes. I received an email notification middle of the week last week and the "official" letter came in the mail today.

The two places I've applied that have actually have an application page to check are also the two places I've yet to definitively hear from. Go figure.

I know they are typically pretty stingy when it comes to funding, but I really can't speak to their competitiveness or lack thereof. My experience is admittedly limited though.

I second this. It really depends on where you go and I'd say that most of the places mentioned in this thread have MDiv programs that are more academically oriented. I was fortunate enough to be at an institution where this was the case and had the added benefit of some flexibility in tailoring my course of study such that my MDiv is much more like an MTS/MA -- but with an extra year added on at the end where I could hone my interests, etc. So depending on where you are it can certainly work to your advantage, especially if you are planning on doctoral work at some point in the future.

I've been told by my POI that the DRTS Admissions Committee met over the weekend and the admitted should be contacted within a week or so.

I'm waiting too (DRTS, PhD).

So, I have been wait-listed at Drew (theological and philosophical studies). I think the deadline for admissions acceptance is April 15-ish. Anyone out there making decisions on Drew?

Was that for the MA/MTS program or for the PhD program? I still have not heard anything. Good luck with UChicago!
