what do you folks think? Are they uploading the letters manually ? Or is it some kind of fancy automated uploader with a timer function written in Fortran ?

so now that pretty much all of us are in the system....will they send an email notifying us a change of status or do we have to refresh that damn folder every now and then ???

Just FYI.........I reset the password....I got in....applicant's folder is empty...seems like consistent with what everyone is seeing...

Does anyone's username email say "As a previous user of an NSERC extranet, please use your existing account information to login..." ??? I may have inadvertently registered on this extranet. ???

I recall that in previous years you have to personally send NSERC an email to accept the award....and many were freaked out about NSERC missing their acceptance email....I wonder if this year will be the same....

Is it slower than the Extranet email ? Well the computer has to make up an username first...and it's two emails. and then various levels of approvals by officers, managers, deputy directors and finally directors..in addition to the bureaucracy at a public institution...

I guess the results will be released in the same manner....."A" first followed by "B" .... that's why they are only giving a time frame instead of a fixed time....

sorry to hear that....I am a 2nd time applicant this yr....and able to apply one last time if I don't get it...don't lose hope....and what's more important Go Publish ... no one cares abt NSERC anymore once you are a PhD
