jma310, where was the online rejection located? I got this message: A decision regarding your admission has been mailed and/or e-mailed to you. But no email. I guess they are mailing the answer.

I feel the same way and will probably accept my offer soon.

I was curious if they mentioned how many people that they are accepting into the program. Sometimes they tell you something like you are 1 of 4 etc... I am on the unofficial waitlist.

I called and the person who answered the phone did not even ask my name but said the exact thing that you posted. I even said that I have to give my decision to another program. I would not care but judging from the posts from last year it seems that the later notifications were all rejections. So why not put us out of our misery and permit us to decide on our other choices or accept our fate for this year.

Do not give up. I know what it is like. This is my third year applying and I finally got an acceptance and am on two waitlists.

chainofbeing, do you know how many people they are taking for fall 2012?

It seems like they are going to wait to the last minute to send rejections.

jma310, I have not heard anything from Stony Brook. However, I did notice two acceptances on the board.

I got a call a little while ago from a number that I did not recognize and it turned out to be some cruise line asking me to take a poll for a chance for free tickets. I literally yelled at the recording. It said, "Sorry I did not recognize that" ahhhh

I am still waiting to hear from Temple. I have not received any answer from them. I called last week and was told that they are still reviewing some applications.

I have not heard anything from Temple. I do not know what to think at this point. Anyone else waiting for Temple?
