Thanks, RWBG. I'm just thankful that I have the option of going to LSE for a year. Hopefully, something else comes through, but there is always next year, and Ive already been thinking of a million tweaks to my application. Such a crazy experience.

So sad about Columbia and Yale. I've been absolutely pounded by this cycle, and am quite sad. So happy for everyone who has gotten into at least one PhD this season. Good luck to all. I will probably leave the board for a while and collect my thoughts.

I agree. I have a tremendous amount of respect for anyone with this type of record. I can only hope to be a fraction as successful. Hopefully good news will be headed my way some day. Good luck in your future endeavors.

I understand, but at this point, it would be comforting to know that I at least am not totally stupid for applying to top programs. Still having not heard anything back from anyone, but MIT, it is becoming kind of difficult to gauge the strength of my application.
