Yep same here...big shout out to UCSD for telling me to got to hell THREE times in one day

Congrats to the other UCLA! This may just be me rationalizing it to myself, but I think in previous years UCLA has rolled out funded offers first, then waited a few days before sending out waitlisted for funding offers. Still nervous, but trying to stay in my shoes.

Trust me...I'll be there. After all the anxiety about apps, plus the work I have to do this week, I can't think of anything that would help more than a little HH.

God I just got like 4 emails on my "apps and other academic stuff" email address....rarely do I ever get anything not relevant to apps at this time of night. Naturally they were all useless (except the invitation to a happy hour on Friday, of course). Sigh.

Have you gotten anything official from the department at OSU yet? I'm in London, and therefore the mail could move slower over here. What day is the admitted students visit?

I agree. Seems like when this sort of thing happens, they're also trying to gauge your actual interest, so to be fair I'd let them know you still want to wait and see how the cycle finishes out, but that you really value their offer, like their program, etc

every time I check this forum it seems like 3 new pages are added and my heart immediately starts racing to about 250 bpm! Being across the Atlantic makes waiting weird bc I have to go through my entire day before I can legitimately start getting antsy about potentially hearing back. Not relevant to the current conversation...but still thought I'd share!

Maybe UCLA? I think in the past they have released some funded offers by now.

Hey Gang, congrats to all those who have been admitted the past couple of days! I've been gone most of the day and was excited to see 5 more pages were added to the forum. Can't wait for more good news to start rolling in for everyone. I have a feeling that Fridays are big days.

Thanks everyone! Honestly, this site has been like therapy for me, and the mutual support everyone brings to the table really helps the anxiety. I hope everyone else hears great news soon as well!
