  1. Sorry to hear that, Ms Boom; I know you've had your heart set there for quite some time.
  2. Call the POI; you've put the time in to an application to merit some of theirs.
  3. So is Harvard releasing on Thursday, or just "deciding?" Also, UT's recruitment day is today, and it is from the results of those original admits that they give out later acceptances (or not), in order to avoid waitlisting people.
  4. I called Stephen Davis to confirm that AC had sent its acceptances out and that I was not one of them.
  5. Nice. Did you apply to Harvard/UT as well?
  6. Yes, I'd love to know the subfields for the Princeton acceptances, but am afraid to ask.
  7. Yeah, who knows? Some of these schools keep their spread pretty tight. Here is an interesting factoid: last year, it seems that of all the acceptances/rejections posted on theGradCafe, all of Yale's Religion PhD notifications occurred between Feb 19-23, Harvard between Feb 19-Mar 1 (and all around Feb 20 except for a "Theology" subfield), and Princeton between Feb 20-21 (almost exclusively on Feb 20). For those of us who applied to these schools, this could be an exciting week.
  8. Good luck this week, y'all. Historically it's been a busy one for admissions.
  9. At Brown, or did all of those just move to UT? So your area is ANE?
  10. I was under the impression that UT was at $16k min, but I think perhaps Kuriakos goes there (?), so he'd know. Yale is around $27.5-29, Princeton around 26-28 (sub-programs can add $), Harvard around $25.5? This is just from current grad students. I think Duke's web site says $18k base, however, paralleling it to UVA, certain BU programs. I agree that the $15ish and under stipends are a bummer because they are just little enough to potentially force some outside work (on the DL?). rabgogh06, what is your subsubfield within RAM? Or who is your PO(most)I?

    2015 apps?

Who are your POIs at Duke? Clark is gone, but will vRompay be there?
  12. I assume they have or will offer you more $ than GTU? What is your area?
  13. I got accepted to FSU without an interview, but I made a point to either visit or call on the phone at least one POI at each of my schools.
