      I've found a higher chance of POIs getting back to me on Sunday than any other day. I found out about my waitlist last year on a Saturday. So who knows!

      Whenever I'm not on email for more than 2 hours I expect a full inbox. Waiting makes you insane.

    began charting response dates from last year's results survey. I needed to do something aside from refreshing my e-mail every minute!

    I submitted all my apps 1 month early thinking that my professors will be pressured into submitting theirs early. But no. They want to submit it the day BEFORE the deadline. :((

      Its apparently how it goes...or, in my case, they submit them within hours of deadline. Fun times!

      Same here. I have a prof who never responded to my email telling him the UT deadline was extended but never submitted the letter!

    Now that I'm done with the Chemistry subject test, I can finally start working on my SOPs and contacting POIs. Is it too late? :/

      last year, I contacted POIs on Oct 31 and started writing SoPs mid November. :P
