Emailed notification that a decision has been made by Duke, but when I go to the page I'm "not authorized to view the content." Hilaaaaarious.

I read people talking about think thank jobs, but does any one know a place that sponsors visas for foreigners?
I'd love to work at one in the US.

Wow, based on the results of yesterday, it's looking like I got into 2/14 programs I applied to. I must admit, I was expecting to do better.

I would guess that you're right about the funding, but then again I have no real insight into the subject

Last year, around 14 people posted acceptances from Georgetown, and most of those said they were wait-listed for funding.
I would guess that they admit around 30-40 people to yield an incoming class of ~20 (in 2011 they had a class of 19) but again, only 6-8 of these will have fellowships, according to their website.

A Tuesday morning request:
If you've already been accepted to many schools and are able to cull the list a little, those of us who are in limbo (either wait listed or neither accepted nor rejected) would appreciate anyone who is able to decline offers before the 15th! Maybe you're still deciding between a couple of schools, but there is one slightly down your list that you could decline?
Someone already started a separate thread for this, I think.
Just a thought!

officially rejected from Yale- got an email to check the site. They said they had 10,500 applicants - This just HAS to be for all of the grad school, I am assuming.
Yeah, that's what I assumed too. Maybe they say that to make it sound more dramatic?

Also, is anyone else ready to be done with schools that use applyyourself? The logging out error message is driving me crazy!
