  1. Well I'm glad someone got at least one of their scores within range or even near the top, both of mine were below, verbal was severely below, math was slightly below. On the bright side at least I had hope for 2 weeks.
  2. Yep, mine was 30 points below the entire range on the old scale. That was a tough pill to swallow.
  3. Wow, I had no idea that existed, thanks. I checked today and my scores are up, I took the test Oct 27th, I didn't think they'd be available so soon. I'll probably still receive the official letter on Dec 1st along with my schools. I have to say I am really disappointed. My verbal score corresponds to an old score that's 30 points less than the lowest point on my range. That's 80 points less than the median for the range I was given. That ruined my day to say the least. It seems a lot of folks' verbal ranges were way inflated. ETS really botched this transition.
  4. Will you also be able to see which section was experimental?
  5. Wow, that is just amazing. I mean I get the logic of the new system, but when a perfect math score on the old system translates into a less than a perfect score, and by 4 points at that, on the new system, and a less than perfect verbal on the old system translates into a perfect score on the new system, you know there is/was something wrong with one or the other. I guess percentiles were always the most important measure and now finally after all these years they have decided to reflect them in the actual scores Congrats on an outstanding score by the way.
  6. Schools applying to: HKS, Chicago Harris, GPPI, Duke Sanford, American SPA Undergraduate institution: Top 100 liberal arts (US News ranking), graduated 2009 Undergraduate GPA: 3.1 Undergraduate majors: International Relations; Political Science; History (yes, 3) GRE scores: 760 Q 700 V 5.5 writing Work experience: 2 years working for a company in Europe that helps cultural exchange projects secure EU funding Do you think I have a chance for the first 4? (American is my safety). I know my GPA is abysmal, but I was hoping this would be offset by my 3 majors and high GRE score. What do you think? Any input will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
