Mine says MFA 2015 - Painting too... What did it say before?

Thanks man. A couple of people have emailed me saying that they saw my work in Studio Visit and wanted me to be a part of their exhibitions, but most of the people I've encountered so far seem to be asking for ridiculous entry fees... Red flags everywhere. I did get an email from East Tennessee University's Slocumb Galleries, however, and now I currently have a painting on display in their juried show... So... was it worth paying to publish my work in Studio Visit? Meh... but it was cool to see my stuff in print. One of my profs made the cover of New American Paintings once. Then he made it in again a few years later. So jelly. Maybe someday.

I applied to both. Got rejected twice from New American Paintings, but I got into Studio Visit last year. Can't remember the issue off the top of my head. Someday, New American Paintings... Someday.

Mount Royal or Hoffberger? Edit: Or one of the other schools?

Just got that giant RISD information packet in the mail. Don't they know what giant fancy envelopes do to us this time of year? Such a disappointment. But anway, Congrats, Tiffanie! That's awesome about PAFA!

Trying to avoid checking my email every three seconds. The anticipation is killing me. I saw someone was shortlisted to Ohio State's photo program, but has anybody heard from their painting department, yet?

Anyone hear from Rutgers about interviews? Do they do interviews?

Anyone hear back from UT Austin yet about interviews? Checking my email obsessively.

Hey there, I applied to Hoffberger last year, got waitlisted, and now here I am... Ready for round two. Trying to narrow it down to 5-7 programs that are well respected/give good funding, cause let's face it, I wouldn't have been able to afford MICA anyway. :-/ Here's the link to my website. I wasn't familiar with her work before, but I'm certainly a fan now. Thanks for introducing me to her. I'm trying to stay along the east coast, but if my plans change within the next year, I'll definitely consider Mills College. Thanks, man. Good luck at Rutgers!

I posted a link to my website once over at the MFA Freakout forum, but I thought I'd post it again over here. I only applied to Hoffberger, which in hindsight was pretty stupid, but it was the only school I really liked. I got waitlisted, which I guess is better than getting a flat out rejection, but all the spots filled up. I'm pretty bummed, but I'm still painting. That's all you can do, I guess. Just keep working. If any of you guys want to form a crit group on facebook or anything like that, I'm totally down. I think it would be a fun way to network. Getting nervous. Still waitlisted to Hoffberger. :-/ I'm throwing all of my angst and energy into making new work. I'm also applying to a few artists residencies in case things don't pan out this year... Anyone else hear back from Hoffberger? I only live 2 hours away from Baltimore and I haven't gotten a response yet. I've heard tales of a mail hub being shut down in Frederick, MD and I'm hoping that might be the reason that I've been waking up to a mailbox full of coupons all week. Also our town's post office is notoriously slow... and our mailman frequently delivers our stuff to our neighbors house... Gah. I had a really great interview and I feel like I really connected with the other students... Trying my best to hold onto some hope right now. I really need this to end. Soon.

Hey there. This is my first time posting, but I've been following this forum for awhile now. I applied to Hoffberger and had an in person interview on Feb 21st. I contacted Chris Herring today about when the decision letters are going out. He told me that they're working on them tonight with the intent to get them out by tomorrow morning.
