  1. You definitely have a shot...a lot of post-bac students are there because they wish to switch gears from whatever field into fine arts. You might want to consider SAIC's prior degree BFA. I think it's only a year...
  2. Most of my rejection letters have advised against it, so I wouldn't do it - especially if you plan to apply to those places again. For my second time applying, I just focused on improving my portfolio, getting some better recommenders, a new essay, etc. In my case, everything could have been improved, and if you're still connected to your undergraduate institution, the admissions office there can be really helpful.
  3. This is me. Seriously, what is going on with Hunter? No one has heard anything?
  4. For those waiting to hear back from Parsons, don't worry - I was accepted last year and never interviewed. The acceptance letter just came in the mail in mid-March. Hang in there!
  5. Hi there, PAFA student here... you should know that Kanevsky teaches only in the undergradate programs, so as an MFA student, you won't have any interaction with him unless you work something out with him on the side, and he's only in on Mondays....check out Scott Noel's work, as well as Renee Foulks-- that's the kind of painting you'll be exposed to for the most part. Have you visited yet?
  6. Does anyone have any opinions on the MFA Photography program at Parsons?
