Congrats on the interview! From what I've gathered on this thread, most people haven't even heard about interviews from the NGP (including myself). About 3 weeks ago someone had contacted the department about when interview invites would be going out and they were told that the department was still reviewing applications (no time frame was given), so maybe this is contributing to the long response time? Since then I haven't seen any other posts about interviews. Good luck!

I also applied to Cornell and haven't heard anything. At one point, someone posted on the results page about hearing from Bonnie regarding interviews; however, they listed their results under the "Human Development, Ph.D." - I know that the human development department offers a Human Development and Family Studies degree as well as the Developmental Psychology degree, so perhaps they've not contacted those who applied for DevPsych?

Could the person who just posted in the results section about an interview for Cornell's Human Development Ph.D. PM me their POI? Also, congratulations!

Thanks for the info about Vanderbilt's NGP, @toyingwithathought! I had given up hope for any good news from them weeks ago, but perhaps there's still a chance!

I have a question regarding phone interviews. At the end of a phone interview, is the norm to be invited for an in-person interview if the phone call went well? I just got done with a 15 minute phone interview and wasn't extended any invitation, though they seemed happy with the way the interview went (said something along the lines of hearing "all positive things").

Just got an email from POI at Virginia Tech's Developmental and Biological Psychology Ph.D. program (through the Psychology Department) asking to have a short phone interview with me sometime this week.

It seems that a lot of people on this board that have applied to Vanderbilt have done so through the IGP, but I'm wondering if anyone has applied through the NGP and has any information on when they might be contacting applicants? I searched the results page to look at some of the responses from previous years, but most of those also seemed to be through the IGP.

One of my application statuses recently changed to "incomplete." It hadn't said that before, and it indicates that all letters of recommendation, scores, transcripts, and fees have been recieved, and that every question on my application form was answered. Does anyone know what that could mean? I emailed the contact person a few hours ago, but they have yet to respond and seeing as it's 5:00 pm on a Friday, I'm assuming I won't hear back until Monday.... *panic*
