Indeed EDIC's thesis directors are not very quick about response. I contacted some of them (in my case most preferrable labs are LAMP and LARA), but still didn't get any answer. I suppose they are waiting for EDIC Open House (which falls on March, 23-24 this year) when fellowship-awarded applicants are to be gathered so that labs have an opportunity to first hire some students from "top list". I hope next week they begin considering prospective assistants among remaining applicants.

Hi I received similar notification at Feb, 15 and since then got no more messages from neither EDIC, nor professors. Still waiting . My profile is as follows: "Specialist" degree in Information Systems and Technologies (curriculum is kind of between Bachelor and Master programs, but for the purpose of EPFL admission is basically regarded as Master) - graduated in 2009. GPA is 4.0 out of 4.0 GRE General (Revised): 160(Q)/151(V)/3.5(AW) TOEFL (iBT): 108/120: 29®/26(L)/23(S)/30(W) 1.5 years of TA/RA (part-time job) 1 publication in proceedings of international workshop + 12 publications in local scientific journals 3.5 years of software development experience in subsidiary of international outsourcing company (full-time job)
