well then it seems there is no set rules in place, which is bad...with other fundings they explicitly explain whether departments are responsible for tuition or top-ups or not....I could not find any such thing for vanier and I would appreciate if anyone has some documents explaining things about this award thanks

Hello and congrats to ya all! I have a Q about the Vanier terms and conditions in general, I wonder those of you who got the award will have to pay your tuition yourself or will you get a top-up to cover that? I mean do you have to pay the tuition from the $50,000?> I am just trying to compare scholarships thanks

That is very unthoughtful of them cause we might need to accept some offers in March-April without knowing if we are partially-funded by OGS or no!

Hey Is it only me or the status of everyone has changed to: ".... we expect that the results will be available early May 2012. Please check back at that time." May?!

This is definitely an OGS thing, if you click on "check status" you will see that they were supposed to update us by mid-Jan...and here comes the Mid-FEB It is annoying

Hey all...if you look at the discussion threads for OGS 2011, it is obvious that we are not going to hear anything until April...I checked with OGS officer at the U of T and she said they do not announce anything till then anyone checked with other schools?

Hi My status has not changed as well. So the question is why they care to even change the mid-dec o mid-Jan if they are not going to announce anything til April? Weird...
