I'm in the limbo as well. When I asked about my application near the end of February, they said that I'm neither admitted nor waitlisted and all these are contacted, yet I'm not out of the game either, and there is a little chance. I guess my situation is similar to Naruto's. But I already accepted an offer, can't wait any longer.

If you don't mind me asking, have you offered an admission from McGill and declined, or you withdrew your application before any decision

I just heard back from Vanderbilt. It was a solicited response. DGS said that they're not done with the process. However, they've already admitted some applicants and have an "alternate candidate list". Although I'm not on that list but not rejected either, but I guess this is a convoluted way of saying you're gonna get your rejection soon. Anyway if someone declines their offer, they'll start to notify the WL, I think!

Yeah, Penn State always sends out interview invites on the first week of Feb, and almost always on Wednesday and Thursday.
