    Hey guys! I need some advice! I have been rejected from 1 of my schools and wait listed at another, with 1 more school to go. This has caused me severe stress, and has made me feel like I need a back up plan. For my back up plan, I applied to college for a 10 month Post-Grad Fast Track Social Service Worker Program and I was just accepted today. Do you think that taking this program will help me if I need to apply again next year? I am hoping it will at least help me to gain experience if nothing else! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    I think this is a VERY important lesson to remember! Getting rejected does not mean our life is over. It just means that we may take a little longer to get where we want to go, or maybe it's pointing us down the path we were meant to go down all along. Thank you to everyone again for your positive thoughts and words of encouragement. It really does help hearing that other people have/are going through the same thing that I am! Gradcafe has actually turned out to be an amazing support system for me!

    Definitely spent all of last week crying over one rejection and all of this week over being put on the waitlist of my top school. Very stressed out

    Waitlisted at University of Toronto! Pretty bummed today....Really scared I won't be going anywhere for my MSW this year...

    I found this on the Results Survey about UofT. "Hi fellow social work applicants, I just called U of T to inquire about when they will be mailing out our results. I was told by Angela that they mailed out decisions yesterday and we should start to hear back from them ending of this week and next week. I currently have an offer for York's Msw program and am anxious before I make a final decision. I have until April 12th to notify York of my decision. Anyways good luck to everyone and fingers crossed for favorable results!" Thank you SO MUCH to whoever posted this! Hope it helps guys!
