I just got my first rejection yesterday, and I'm waiting on two other schools. Apparently one of them is harder to get into than the one I applied to and one of them is easier. Being handed this first rejection has not only shot my confidence, but has instilled the fear that there could possibly be the chance that I won't get in anywhere. This scares me. A lot. Is anyone else feeling like this? Does anyone have any words of wisdom, advice, words of experience that may help?

Rejected from Laurier yesterday.....waiting on UofT and York now. I'm not going to lie, I'm starting to get scared...

So sorry to hear about those who received rejections from Laurier! I do hear that it is very competitive! I have heard that some people have already been accepted to York! I have yet to hear from York or Laurier....is anyone else in the same boat?

At least I know I'm not alone! Hang in there...they have to respond some time!

No York decision for me yet....but you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be checking the status every hour today lol

STILL SILENCE.....haven't heard a word from anyone yet. Is anyone else beginning to question their existence?

Well I want to go into Medical Social Work and apparently I hear UofT is the best school for that, so I am leaning towards UofT. However, Laurier would be a lot better location wise and I think living would be easier to afford, so I am kind of torn between those two. All in all, I think UofT is probably my top choice right now. How about you???

Does anyone else applying for their MSW in Canada feel like they are the only applicant in the universe who hasn't heard a thing yet? I'm starting to question my existence! ...Come on April!

So we just have to make until April...this is going to be the longest couple of weeks of my life....just like the last few months have been! Hang in there everyone!

I've debated calling the school asking about the admissions. However, I'm not really sure if it would be beneficial. On one hand, they could see it as me being very interested in their program. On the other hand, I feel like it might just annoy them. I'm not really sure what to do. Thoughts??

LOVE the comic above hahaha! When I tell people I'm worried and nervous about not getting in anywhere, they answer back "It's not a big deal, you'll save money not going to school" Yeah, my dreams will be crushed and I'll have no idea what to do with my life...but hey! I'll save some money lol
