  1. Hello everyone, I have heard back from all schools and have found myself in a strange situation; I've been accepted to my top choice but it's so surreal that I feel confused? I had pretty much written it off when I called there last week and was told that they were even more selective this year due to budget cuts, but I got the call a couple nights ago and I'm so excited that I'm confused. After 4 months of pure stress, and everything else going on I didn't expect this. I have a couple of weeks to make my final decision, but I'm almost certain I'll attend at my top choice! I should be thrilled right now, but like I said, I'm confused...wtf? Anyone else experience this weird shock/disorientation feeling after being accepted at their top choice school?
  2. Still waiting on San Jose State University MS I/O Psychology, FIU (same), and Bernard Baruch (CUNY) same... Why oh why do we put ourselves through this misery? Anyone getting physically ill with stress? I'm finishing all my undergrad stuff (capstone, last year of independent research presentation, etc.), moving into transient home (parents), and trying to not lose my pt job at guitar center in the middle of frantically checking mail, email, and app sites for some sign of closure. Is it really that difficult to just let us know if we haven't made it by now? Speaking of which, what should we be thinking if we haven't heard from all of you  prestigous gate-keepers by now? Help.
  3. Hello everyone! It seems like Columbia is a really amazing university, and I'm seeing nothing but good things about TC. I've been admitted to the Social-Organizational Psych MA program for the Fall, and I'm trying to figure out how to make this happen. A student ambassador told me that funding is almost non-existent for MA students, but there is work study. I'm not sure what she meant by that, but I've already started applying to part-time jobs in NYC. If I do go my girlfriend and our two cats are coming too, so I want to make sure we live in a safe and comfortable place. Living in FL has become rather depressing due to the economic impact of the housing market crash here, and I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life. Anyone else making a far move to attend TC? Good luck to all of you, and I hope to see you in NYC! Mike
