Does anyone know the class size for SVA (Fine Arts program)?

I just called VCU to ask if their painting decisions were finished and she said they were NOT. HMMM....

Have you called them? It might be worth a try.

Waitlisted at SVA! That was a surprise, I figured I was out completely. Still nothing from VCU. My status hasn't changed on my application or anything. Thinking about calling them...

On the front page, below the normal stuff says "application decision" or something like that.

I definitely spent a lot of time worrying about what was going to happen - checking all my accounts, checking my email a billionty times. And now it's probably all for naught! I'm going to move soon, get a new job (hopefully), and try to focus on working on my art and giving it another go. But I really am trying to just relax about it. You have so little control over the process.

Yeah, SMFA has over a hundred. My undergrad was really small (fine arts had 12 students) and I really feel like I flourished in that type of environment. You know all of your professors and all of your fellow students and it feels like a real community. It would definitely be jarring for me to be in such a large class.

I talked to someone at an interview who was waitlisted at RISD and she said they told her they had made all their decisions (this was for painting). I didn't hear it from them, so take it as you will.

Thanks, but I don't think I'll be going. The program was waaay too big for my tastes. However, it's good to FINALLY have an acceptance under my belt and I will definitely consider it once I get the financial aid info from them.

Got a call today, accepted to SMFA.

Rejection from MICA via letter. Bummertown, USA, once again. Though by now, I've just accepted that I'll be going into round 3 of applying for grad schools.

It will be round 3 for me!!! (granted I did get accepted to a school during round 1 but due to unfortunate circumstances I could not attend)

Ugh, how can a school have something like that happen? Also, kazoo, I feel I should do what you've done in your signature with rejections! I'm already prepping for another year of working and applying again....sigh...

Yes! Univ of Penn practically dropped off the list, which is very surprising! They were like #14 before I think.

Rejection letter from Rutgers today...getting really tired of all these rejections.

I was accepted to Cranbrook last year and couldn't get a cosigner for a loan of $7500, so I couldn't go. I was so bummed. But I'm back on the horse again! It's all you can do really.

I thought about selling my eggs, but I would have complications from the hormones you have to inject. So now the plan is loans, loans, beautiful loans.

I was upfront with my job that I would be applying to schools and hopefully attending college in the fall. My job is retail though, so it is not hard to walk away from!
