I'm waiting on two more schools, Pitt being one of them. I saw an acceptance not too long ago.....I guess I will be repeating this process next year. Congrats to all the admits!

Anyone want to claim the UW acceptance? I think I might have to throw in the towel after all. I give up. What a shitty day.

Today is turning out to be a heartbreaking day for many. Condolences on the rejections. All I hear are crickets chirping. No news.....I need closure. Any news on Pittsburgh?

I was wondering the same thing. I had thought by now we'd have our fate. Perhaps next week is our week. I did see a recent acceptance on the board from an MA student, but nothing since.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us still awaiting news. I need to hear from two more schools and then the journey is over for me. If I don't make it into any programs this cycle, then I suppose I will be back again. Hopefully, with a much stronger application. Good luck! I hope next week is a good one.

I'm not expecting good news, just some news somewhere in time. I was wondering why the person I had addressed in my post had received a rejection notice and I haven't yet. Are you that person?

To the person who posted the Cornell rejection. Were you contacted by the DGS and sent a form letter or did you inquire about your applicatin status and received the news that way? I'm still waiting to hear from them either way. I don't know if they are finished sendin out acceptances. Anyone with information, please share!

So far, only negative news from UW. I'm hoping for no e-mail! I wonder if they've sent out general rejections and are now deciding on acceptances. So, those who are accepted might hear next week of the week after. Just speculating and trying to make myself feel less anxious about the whole thing....

Seems like they're sending out rejections. In that case, I don't want an e-mail!!! Can the person(s) who received news from UW, please fill us in on the process? Was it a personalized e-mail from the DGS or POI or was it a generic e-mail leading you to the website?

Sandy, hang in there! I definitely understand your anxiety about this whole process. Also, e-mails non-application related are really starting to get on my nerves too. I have unsubscribed from so many things in the last few weeks! Thanks Goldie for the quote.

Anyone care to claim the Pitt admit? It's for the Masters program, but it's the first one up. I'm obsessed now....I need to find that positive vibe from yesterday!
