  1. I was accepted to their engineering management program, and they advised they would make a decision by March 15. I hope that within the next two days they confirm if you'll be getting financial aid. I have not yet heard, either. Congrats on getting in!
  2. Where are you from originally? I know two classmates (from an american university) who went to school in australia found it very difficult to afford living there. Definitely consider currency exchange rate and financial aid because it can cost much more than attending a university elsewhere.
  3. Congrats, Xfluux! I'm waiting to hear from Dartmouth. Were you invited to interview? They're both respectable programs. I don't know much about Dartmouth's job placement. That's what it comes down to for me - job prospects. I would do as much research as I can online, and then call admissions and ask what type of jobs do the students go into, where? do they collect average salary data, etc.
  4. They have sent Fellowships already. I don't know that they offer much in addition to the fellowships online. What's your top choice? I would like to do this program in a year. Does anyone know how many people complete the program in a year versus 15 months?
  5. Here are the employment stats of MEM graduates published by DUKE http://memp.pratt.duke.edu/sites/memp.pratt.duke.edu/files/memp/MEM_Eployment_Stats_2010-2011.pdf Have you found anything similar posted for other MEM programs by other schools?
  6. I think my March 1. I checked a history of admissions results posted in previous years, and it appears to be before March 1. And here it is. So by March 1st, I guess: http://memp.pratt.duke.edu/application-deadlines What other programs have you applied to?
  7. I applied for round 1, and I still haven't heard from them. I'm so tired of waiting. it's one of my top choices. Where else have people applied? How would you rank Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke & Stanford's MEM programs?
  8. For MBA applications, the cost is 250 each for the top ten schools; factor in costs for transportation if you are invited to interview. My total costs amounts to 670 app fees 160 GRE 69 GRE score reports 67 transportation to interview 966 Total How do i factor in costs associated with stress? I've been drinking and eating a little more to deal with my anxiety.
