I'm curious about what mixed things you've heard about Brooklyn. I was accepted there as well.

Is there anyone waitlisted at BU who is thinking of attending the open house? I can't decide if it's worth going or not, especially since I heard nobody got off the waitlist last year. I got into some other good schools so maybe it's not worth it. I also don't live in the MA area so it would be a bit of a trip for me with possibly no pay off. Thoughts?

I'm considering going there, but I'll be at the 3/23 open house!

Is there anybody from NY who is planning on going out of state who is worried about not being able to get their TSSLD? TSSLD is a NY State teaching certification requirement in addition to the state licensure for slp for working with kids ages 3+ in basically every setting and is really hard to get if you don't go to grad school in NY. I got into Rush and am really interested in the program, but I want to come back to NY and am worried about this problem. I am not 100% sure if I want to work with adults or children, but I don't want to limit myself in case I do want to work with children. I'm really frustrated because everything I read is really disheartening about how the ny state ed dept is a bureaucratic mess that makes it impossible to get this certification from a program out of state.

I applied there through CSDCAS and they didn't contact me either. I called them just to make sure they had everything. I'm assuming they didn't send any info out to anyone.

I think it was due Jan 15th and I submitted on Jan 1 I believe. Well if your last name is B, maybe it's alphabetical? I'm E so hopefully I'll be soon!

Yeah, I applied but haven't heard. I was surprised to see some people got letters today because I thought they were mailing them today. I live in NY so it will probably be a couple more days until I get it. I also applied to TC but haven't heard from them either. Did you submit your application early? I'm trying to figure out the order that they are sending out these notifications.

Were you the one that heard from MGH via the postal service? Did they call you first? I was under the impression that everyone that was accepted was called already. Congrats by the way!

Yeah i checked that too and they both say complete...it makes me anxious that some people have heard already! I wish all the schools could tell all of their applicants at the same time.

I just logged in and it didn't say anything, except for that my application was complete. Did anyone else see that they were accepted or rejected on the website?
