anybody know anything yet? heard anything regarding TA?
  3. will you accept if you get in off the waitlist? And if so, can I ask why in particular would you choose parsons over those other schools you got accepted to? Thanks
  4. um... money? did you get any funding from either Both are good schools
  5. They are both highly regarded schools. Unless you have lots of money, I would take the better financial offer...
  6. I told them I wouldn't be going if they don't fund me lol, which is actually true. Said it in of course more tactful language in my letter...
  7. Apparently it goes up to 65% Last year someone got 75% But of course that's like very few people get a lot - they tend to dole out a little bit of money to many people in that program, so some people might get like 20% or less - but most people get something, I think
  8. Did u get the 100% scholarship?
  9. wow but you got into SAIC with scholarship? Was that the 100% tuition scholarship?

I think they do this on purpose. It can't be that hard to read 10-20 applications and pick the people you want for TA.

Any word when we might hear about our TA'ship applications? I can't accept the place they gave me if I don't get one...
  12. Hi congrats on the acceptance! I didn't apply lol. Um, but was just wondering so did you get no funding for it and is everyone getting no funding from columbia? Do you have a website also?
  13. ucla. Somebody said they got 100% plus a small stipend, but I think that person was in-state, I'm out of state and international...
  14. Well Rutgers offers more than 50% to some students... With a TA'ship it's free plus 24 k stipend with health insurance...

Ok guys guess what I heard. I just spoke with Anine on the phone regarding the TA'ship applications, and she said decisions haven't been made yet... but apparently there should be 7 or 8 available! That's like pretty good odds right? ha
  16. Hi you seem to be quite knowledgeable about what's hot and where to be... how do you think LA compares to NYC these days though? Similarities/ differences in scene/ opportunities? Anyone? Thanks

Well Rutgers is primarily known for their painting faculty... but how about new genres? Did you sit in on a performance class or new media/ new genres?
  18. ok well in that case I will call them and ask. I'm not sending no transcripts (again) if I'm not under consideration for admission.
  19. seriously just do it... I won't take it in a bad way... I will just forever think your program is not trendy enough for me lol They must be at least considering though many applicants...
  20. just got an email from usc lol does this mean they are at least interested? - Greetings from the University of Southern California. We have reviewed your application for admission to graduate study, and are unable to proceed because of important items missing from your application file. These items are listed below: academic transcripts, including coursework from the most recent semester as indicated below.
  21. congrats! can i ask if u received any $ from them
  22. Um, well if they can't tell me by April 2nd... I'm going to have to accept, then withdraw my acceptance, if I don't get the funding. Will this have any problems? Are acceptances contractual lol
  23. anyone got opinions on parsons? Facilities/ faculty/ programs/ student life/ atmosphere, etc.
  24. But did you send an application to Anine for the TA'ship/ scholarship funding? They haven't decided on those yet right. There's still hope no?
