The one at UofT is all course work where as the one at York there is a research paper. I am not to concerned about transportation or class conflict as I am sure I will manage. It is more so with the amount of work and whether I will be able to manage. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Im in the same boat as you. Partially funded MA at UofT (in Canada), and fully funded at York. I have no clue which one to chose. Turning down free education seems so hard but turning down the best University in the country seems even harder even though I will have to go into debt for it. Sometimes I wish I was rejected at one of the schools so I dont have to make this very, very, very had decision.

I have been accepted to two one year master programs for September. One is a MA in Criminology and York University which is fully funded and which in escense will pay for my other degree as the other is a Masters in Industrial Relations and Human Resources at the University of Toronto which is partially funded. I am unsure which one to chose and was wondering if anyone thinks if it is possible to complete two of them at the same time. I understand my grades will suffer but I am not looking to further my education. I just want to know if anyone has done this before and if the work load is possible. I know I wont have a life for the next year but it is worth it if I am receiving two degrees as the same time. Please let me know what you think.

I was rejected from the MA in criminology from U Ottawa late last week as I emailed the department and my online status changed just after. Try contacting them and see what they say.

I just got accepted via email from Carol to the advanced standing program. I hope you guys hear some good news as well. I am so excited.

I just got into U of T MIRHR program via email from Carol, the graduate administrator. Im so excited, this was the program I was expecting to get into.

If you dont mind me asking, when and how did UofT reply to you (email, letter) as I am still waiting for a response.

Havent heard anything back as of yet. My application still says "under review" online. Im so nervous, I wish they would sent them out already.

Im going crazy to. I have applied to 4 different programs and only heard back from York after emailing them for a update. I also have yet to hear back from UofT. I applied to two programs there.

I applied to both the Masters in Criminology and Masters in Industrial Relations and Human Resources and both my statuses say under review. When I emailed the graduate assistant, she stated my status was the same as online. I hope it doesn't mean Im rejected.

I applied to Bond University in Australia for their J.D. program. They told me I should hear back from them within a few weeks. I'd try sending your supervisor or graduate program administer an email or phone call.

Mine says its still "under review." I emailed the program coordinator last week and she said I should be notified in a few weeks. Maybe you should try emailing her and see what she says? Let me know, I hate how they make you wait forever.

Im on the wait list for the MA in Socio-Legal Studies at York. I found out last week after emailing them.

Mine also says "Under Review" for the MA in Criminology at UofT. I emailed the other day and they said they'll get back to me in a few weeks.
