  4. I just got my acceptance today!!!!
  5. how do you know that its a rejection if you haven't recieved a letter within 2 weeks?
  6. Although I'm not in a similar boat I can offer my advice, which really counts for nothing but here it goes. If you have or planning to have a family in which you need some income, I'd say it should be time to start thinking of getting a steady job (there are still some out there, just maybe not in your field). However, if that isn't a problem I'd say keep trying! There are plenty of graduate students your age and older, I really don't see the big deal.
  7. well today on the website it says "decision made"... now I just have to wait for something in the mail. FML.
  8. Alright, thanks a bunch! I might send them an email requesting a status update on my application.
  9. I'm sick of my girlfriend's parents toasting to me getting into grad school at every dinner, dispite me telling them I haven't got in anywhere yet
  10. Did you get the notification in an email or through the SGS site?
  11. hahah exactly, if I am to be rejected I would rather know now than later. Right now I'm assuming no news is good news
  12. When did you hear from them? Late April? I don't think my nerves could handle another 2 months! The weird thing about York was that in late Feb. I recieved a messege on my phone saying that they didn't have my complete application (which I sent in late January). The next day I had an email saying "thank you, we have recieved your complete application" wtf??? U of T's application process is pretty good but York's is brutal :|
  13. I've been searching the results page (its a little awkward trying to find Canadian schools on it) and haven't seen much about U of T or York. I'm slipping slowly into insanity waiting for a response.
