Just in case anyone was following this trend, I got my acceptance today. So there is still hope!

Has anyone heard absolutely anything? There is nothing in the results search and I haven't had any type of contact. I was getting ready to call tomorrow if I didn't get anything today.

If you have to respond to other offers before the 15th, then it is completely acceptable for you to email them. It's only reasonable for them to get the decision out before most other school's deadlines.

..and just to be clear (don't see an edit button), I am looking for funding. I have been admitted to plenty of places.

I was offered a RA spot at my undergraduate institution with full funding + a stipend for next year.... then that spot was cut due budget cuts. So now I am in Limbo as far as graduate school. Because of this, I did not apply to nearly enough graduate schools and it doesn't seem like I have much of a shot at funding. I have two possibilities left for funding, but I think I shouldn't hold out too much hope. Is there any chance of getting funding when entering in the spring? Is this a good idea? I would be going for mechanical engineering, if that makes any difference and have pretty decent specs (3.8 GPA, 167 Q, 153 V, 4 AW, good recommendations and SoP)

Has anyone heard anything from Notre Dame's ME department? I sent an email, and they said "they are still in the process of selections" and would keep going till mid-April. I saw one result from years past had an interview with the department, and was wondering if anyone had something like that.

I applied to Oregon State (for Mechanical) and a number of other places... and still haven't heard anything back. But I am confident I will be accepted due to my contact there. So don't give up hope! They may wait a little while to send out their acceptances.

I have a question similar to that of the OP, but not exactly the same. My spring break is coming up next week, and is my only time I would be able to visit potential graduate schools. I was wondering if it would be considered to be appropiate for me to send an email asking about my status/when a decision will be made. If it makes a difference, the deadline for applications was around the first of Feburary, so it wasn't that long ago.
