Hi. I have a question for those who start the 1st year of their Master's in September. Do we need to wait untill Sept. to begin getting SSHRC payments, or can we check off the May "box" on the Activation Form and begin getting our coin sooner? What is the norm here? What are you guys doing?

Finally got that beautiful brown envelope today! Took a long time to get here, even though I'm not too far from Ottawa. Applied through uni. in 4th year of undergrad. GPA: 82% Pubs: none Conferences: none Letters: presumably very positive

What doe the letter/envelope look like? Thick a winner? Thin a loser? "Sweating"

Okay, I'm getting worried. I just checked my mailbox and nothing! I'm in Ontario. On the one hand, I'm worried that this suggests that "rejection" letters come a little later than acceptance letters. On the other hand, I'm hoping that this is just the local mail not delivering to my box yet (i.e., there was no other mail in there). Are there other "via university" applicants out there - from Ontario - who haven't received anything yet? Please let me know! Ahhhh!

Checked mailbox yesterday. I'm in Kingston. It was empty (I don't think we get a drop off on Monday though). Will check today. Anyone else in Ontario not get theirs? Also, anyone who was forwarded from their school get a rejection?
