wow....I agree that each school is looking for a best "fit".... I also have an A average and 3.5 years experience.... I couldn't believe I was rejected by UoT which was my first choice.... am not sure if it was my PS cos I wasnt really confident on that but you are right... we both should be proud of our accomplishments for getting into Laurier.... I guess I will be seeing you in the fall then...

For those who have been waitlisted for UoT....dont give up just yet....I have seen at least from the results page on this forum that there is a lot of movement....I know having to wait a couple more weeks can hurt but stay positive... i have read here that it may be a good idea to send a "very very" short email re-emphasizing your continued interest in the program... Good luck! BTW it seems am the only one that got rejected on the forum? all am seeing is acceptances and waitlists....

on my rejection letter, they said they received over 800 applications for the 2 year program....BTW I see you have been accepted to just about all the schools you applied to... congrats! I guess your headache now is where to go?

They have actually sent out all decisions from the sounds of it.... I just got a rejection from UoT..... letter is dated April 11 Looks like am heading to Laurier! am glad this is all over now....

congrats to all who've been accepted into UoT!. like everyone else I just checked my mailbox like the 10th time.... gosh cant wait to just find out and move on...

Have you decided on Laurier yet? have also been looking around for housing... I find viewit.ca very helpful...again Kitchener and Waterloo listed together but the two are about 12 mins or so apart by car and apparently 15 mins by bus... I hear buses are fairly reliable especially during the school year so you could live in either and still commute to school at a decent time.... I understand they come by every 30mins or so depending.... The local online newspaper - in the region- the record also has listings here ... .... and its not too early to start looking, if you are looking for a one bedroom I understand they go pretty quickly so now is actually the best time to look... good luck on your search...

Ironically your work experience was probably the strongest than you give yourself credit for.... although your grades are awesome as well..... working with vulnerable ill elderly persons is very much direct social work .... IMHO

Am also waiting to hear from UoT before I accept....fortunately I have until April 18th to do so....am hearing decisions for UoT should be out by then.... I would like to think so too re internal scholarships on admission... I dont really wanna get my hopes up though....hopefully we all get something at least to start us off....
